Music
Kãisãró Diroá is an artist dedicated to the ancestral songs of the Tukano and Tariano peoples, a heritage she received from her Tukana mother and her father from the 3rd clan of the Tariano ethnic group. From a young age, she learned to sing during social gatherings and rehearsals with the Diroá Baya group in Manaus. Her mentor, Ermelinda Yepario, played a crucial role in her musical development, offering valuable guidance despite lacking formal academic training. For Kãisãró, ancestral songs and traditional dances are not aimed at fame or profit, but rather at the celebration and promotion of indigenous culture. Music has always been an important tool for giving visibility to this rich heritage. The songs and dances are essential parts of her indigenous identity, providing a deep connection to her roots and ancestry, helping her to balance the worlds in which she lives: the indigenous and the non-indigenous.
Kãisãró has always made a point of including songs in his artistic works, such as plays, films, and performances. In this way, his works have become known to other peoples. Kãisãró created this artistic modality, and currently, other Indigenous people who are starting out in art also incorporate Indigenous songs into their work, which makes Kãisãró very proud. Despite being very young, her works already serve as inspiration.

What is not (2021)
Artists: Violet Front
In 2021, Kãisãró Diroá participated in the project "What Is Not There." This work explores the possibilities of different worlds, spaces, and bodies through sound as a presence of the invisible. Through diverse sonic cosmologies, subtle and intense vibrations, voices, and languages that occupy and infiltrate the spaces and buildings of grand architecture, it produces friction and contrast between worlds.
